System requirements

Operating system
Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) or Windows 11. 64-bit.
Network
5 GHz Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. Renderer and PC must be on the same local network. 1080p H.264 averages around 8 Mbps sustained.
Renderers
Tested on DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Goggles 3. Any DLNA renderer should work. Turning on streaming on the goggles is covered in How to Watch Movies on DJI Goggles.
Plays without re-encoding
H.264 + AAC in MP4 plays directly. The same codecs in MKV or AVI are repackaged to MP4 with no re-encode, so they keep full quality and seek like MP4.
Transcoded formats
Other formats convert to H.264 + AAC on the fly, driven by the file's codecs. Default output 1080p, configurable.
Video URLs (optional)
Available when yt-dlp is installed. yt-dlp is not bundled; install via winget, Scoop, Chocolatey, or a manual download.
Capture devices (optional)
DirectShow video sources: webcams, OBS Virtual Camera, USB HDMI capture cards, with their own audio input if they have one. Desktop capture streams a monitor with system audio.
Hardware encoder (optional)
Intel Quick Sync, NVIDIA NVENC, or AMD AMF is used when present. Without one, the app encodes in software (OpenH264).
